This place is the best on Dominion Rd - great handmade dumplings & noodles. The tofu & cucumber salad is insane! It’s also BYO which a lot of the other Asian places aren’t.

Best dumplings in Hamilton.

Really popular spot in Napier and as most of the locals will tell you the best chinese in town. Started my night off with the wings which are pretty famous I hear and I’m not surprised, was impressed with how fast they serve too. Right opposite the Municipal Theatre so it’s a good place to grab something to eat pre-show.

Rice Bowl is located in the top town complex so is the perfect place to go to for lunch before a movie. Their food is bursting with flavour and the yum cha menu is delicious, who doesn’t love steamed buns and dim sims? They also do roasts that really take you back to being in mums kitchen! They’re open for lunch and dinner, but unfortunately no delivery.

One thing I love about Asian food is how it's presented and they are masters at Chan's! True Chinese food that's fresh and packed with flavor, you can eat there or take it home, Chinese food is made for sharing so it's perfect for when you have unexpected guests come over for dinner!

Traditional Chinese food at its finest … While there is a big focus on takeaway food, there is ample seating for those who’d rather linger. Food wise, there’s everything from dumplings and deep fried won tons and a variety of great Chinese dishes.

Absolutely LOVE these markets! We are so lucky to have this in our City, and I always rave about it to friends and family. It's always a tough choice each Sunday between the roti wraps, Vicki's dumplings, Big Bad Wolf, and some of the delicious pastries and sweet treats.

Superb! I can never get enough of Chow Tory! Small plates of delectable morsels to taste and share among friends. The service is fantastic and if the food isn't enough...their amazing cocktails will seal the deal (try their famous Rosebud). Highly recommend you try Chow! #shoutme

The China Kitchen is my favourite place for dumplings. I usually go for an assortment of vegetarian and pork dumplings with their delicious dipping sauces. Dumplings aren't the only thing on the menu however, they have well over 100 other dishes to choose from too!

My number one go-to restaurant on Riccarton Road, the name says a lot but it doesn’t state how delicious it actually is!

There are some really good Chinese food restaurants in Dunedin but my pick is Shangri-la Restaurant. Great selection of food here – try the dumplings. They’re the best!

Superb menu full of delicious streetfood-style dishes including dumplings, sharing plates and hawker rolls. An excellent cocktail list and great decor, as well as friendly staff make this a must when visiting Queenstown.

Try the warm Portuguese tarts. Not at all what we expected to see on the menu given the theme, but the perfect ending to the meal nonetheless.

Ming Garden do a great buffet, in fact, they specialise in buffets! The fried rice is the best in Southland and their dumplings are ridiculously good. I love the pork dumplings and the dipping sauce, and I bet you will too
